Fashion for Haiti

CFDA Designs 'Fashion For Haiti' T-Shirt

The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) is set to launch a "Fashion for Haiti" t-shirt with all proceeds benefiting the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, WWD reports. The t-shirt will his stores and cfda.com on February 12 and will cost $25. It will be produced by Theory and made in women's and men's styles.
CFDA President Diane von Furstenberg told WWD, "The tragedy in Haiti has affected everyone and most of us individually have given money for relief. However, I think it is now important to send a message and create a channel for funding from fashion as an industry."

To lend some help to the Haitians dealing with the aftermath of last week's earthquake, the Burbank, CA-based vintage-inspired clothing and accessories boutique and online store Unique Vintage (www.Unique-Vintage.com) is donating 20% of sales from their umbrella collection to the American Red Cross from now through the end of January. It's a wonderful way to make a small difference in the lives of people thousands of miles away...and stay dry at the same time.
